Appointments

New Patients

If you are considering cosmetic surgery, your initial consultation will include a complete history and problem focused physical examination. In addition, Dr. Kimmel will provide you with all pertinent details regarding your recommended surgery, realistic expectations for the peri-operative period and reasonable anticipated outcome. You will also be provided with a comprehensive estimate for your recommended surgery including surgeon, facility and anesthesia fees. Because of the number and complexity of anatomic variations between individuals, these financial estimates are best given by our staff after completion of a cosmetic consultation and are generally not quoted over the phone. These cosmetic consultations are free of charge. Dr. Kimmel’s primary goal is to provide you with complete, honest and accurate information regarding your recommended cosmetic surgery. Payments for all cosmetic procedures are due two weeks prior to the surgery date. We offer a variety of payment options, including personal checks and credit cards as well as financing arrangements with a local bank and national health care credit organizations (Care-Credit). For more information regarding these options, see ‘Financing’.

In general, our guidelines for billing are outlined by the insurance carriers with which we participate. It is therefore, your responsibility to pay any insurance deductible, co-payment, co-insurance or other unpaid balance not covered by your health insurance.
Financial Obligations / Financing
We will make every effort to keep down the cost of your medical care. To this extent, you can assist by providing payment at the time a service is rendered. Additionally, we will inform you of any out-of-pocket expenses specified by your insurance plan prior to your scheduled procedure. Specific questions regarding your billing may be directed to our billing staff. They will be happy to provide you with any necessary assistance and guidance during regular office hours.
When it comes to financing your procedures we accept a variety of payment options, including personal checks and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express) as well as financing arrangements with a local bank and national health care credit organizations (Care-Credit). If financial considerations are what stand between you and your enhanced new image, we are confident that we can offer you a financing option that best fits your budget and lifestyle. Once you’ve made this determination, you’ll be provided a confidential credit application which you can complete either at our office or in the privacy of your own home, depending on your personal preference. In either case, our experienced staff are available to assist you in this process if needed.
